Birthdays will be celebrated in the classrooms. We encourage parents to attend birthday celebrations. Birthday celebrations generally take place at 10:45 during group time. If this time does not work for your family, please contact your child’s teacher to reschedule. A reminder will be sent home in advance that will include the date of celebration as well as the number of treats to prepare. If you are unsure what to bring, a few suggestions include: muffins, fruit kabobs, cookies, mini cupcakes, rice crispy treats, and brownies. To make is easier and fair when passing out the special treat we ask that you send the same snack for all children. Please no rings or toys on the snack. For those children whose birthdays fall during summer vacation, we will celebrate their half-birthday.
For children with allergies, we ask that you provide a small amount of special treats for us to keep on hand for your child.
On the day of the celebration we ask that you provide a short biography of your child’s life. Feel free to include pictures with the biography.
